Rules of the game and privacy policy

(hereinafter referred to as: “Rules”)

1. Organiser

1.1. The organiser of the prize draw (hereinafter: “Game“) is Padthai Kft. (registered office: 1122 Budapest, Bíró utca 7., company registration number: 01-09-185359, hereinafter: “Organiser” or “Data Controller”) and the administrator of the game is Raconteur Zrt. (registered office: 2030 Érd, Kankalin utca 1/a., company registration number: 13-10-041846, hereinafter referred to as: “Administrator” or “Data Processor”).

2. Duration of the game

2.1. The Game shall run from 00:00 on 1 March 2026 to 23:59 on 31 March 2026.

3. Description of the game

3.1. Natural persons who meet the conditions of participation set out in Section 4 of these Rules may participate in the promotional prize game announced by the Organiser under the name “PADTHAI TOURS“.

4. Conditions of participation

4.1. Only legally capable Hungarian citizens of legal age (18 years or older) with permanent registered residence in Hungary (hereinafter referred to as “Participants” or “Players“) may participate in the Game, provided that they:

4.1.1. during the period specified in Section 2.1, purchase at least one padthai base per purchase for at least HUF 2,490 during one or more purchases, to which a maximum of one of the seven permanent padthai sauces covered by the Game may be added per base – Malay Coconut Curry, Burma Green Curry, Thailand PadThai, China Sweet and Sour, Japan Teriyaki, Indonesia Satay, Laos Red Curry – and during the duration of the Game, use a total of at least 4 different padthai sauces in the above manner at one of the padthai wokbar restaurants in Budapest, Győr or Kecskemét, at the cash register, at a self-service kiosk or through the Padthai WOKSTAR application.

4.1.2. After the first purchase, collect one stamp in the “padpassport” game passport received at the cash register for each padthai sauce selected as part of the Game, so that they have a total of 4 different stamps for 4 different padthai sauces during the duration of the Game.

4.1.3. Place the completed padpassport in the lottery box located in any participating restaurant during the duration of the Game.

4.1.4. and is not excluded from the Game.

4.1.5. The Player is obliged to enter their personal data in the “padpassport” game passport in capital letters and in a legible form. If the personal data provided is not clearly legible or readable, the Player will be excluded from the Game.

4.2. Stamping rules:

4.2.1. When purchasing the same sauce, the Player is only entitled to one stamp, regardless of the number of purchases.

4.2.2. An invoice confirming a purchase can only be validated once.

4.2.3. If several people make a purchase on one receipt, the purchasers are free to decide whether to have the stamps placed in one or more padpassports.

4.2.4. Players are only entitled to request stamps at the restaurant where they placed their order (including orders placed via the app); it is not possible to have stamps added at a later date at another restaurant.

4.3. Persons excluded from the Game:

4.3.1. Players who violate any point of these Rules may be excluded from the Game.

4.3.2. Employees of the Organiser and the Administrator, as well as their close relatives as defined in Section 8:1(1) of the Civil Code, are excluded from the Game.

4.3.3. Persons with limited legal capacity or who are legally incompetent may not participate in the Game, even through their legal representative.

5. Course of the Game

5.1. During the period specified in Section 2.1, the Player shall purchase at least one padthai base for at least HUF 2,490 per purchase during one or more purchases – either in a single transaction or in several separate purchases – at one of the Padthai Wokbar restaurants in Budapest, Győr or Kecskemét, at the cash register, at a self-service kiosk or via the Padthai WOKSTAR application.

The padthai sauce involved in the Game cannot be purchased as a separate product; the sauce is free with the selected base, and a maximum of one sauce can be selected per base.

During the Game, the Player must choose from the 7 permanent padthai sauces – Malay Coconut Curry, Burma Green Curry, Thailand PadThai, China Sweet and Sour, Japan Teriyaki, Indonesia Satay, Laos Red Curry – and use at least 4 different padthai sauces during the duration of the Game.

After the first purchase, the Player collects one stamp in the game passport called “padpassport” received at the cash register for each padthai sauce selected as part of the Game, so that they have 4 different stamps for 4 different padthai sauces.

The Player can then place the completed “padpassport” in the lottery box located in any participating restaurant during the duration of the Game.

6. Selection of participants in the prize draw, draw

6.1. On 9 April 2026 at 12:00 PM, at the registered office of the Organiser, the Administrator shall draw a total of 21 winners (hereinafter: “Winners“) and 21 reserve winners (hereinafter: “Reserve Winners“) in the presence of a notary public, by means of a manual draw that satisfies the principle of randomness, in accordance with these Rules. The draw shall not be open to the public.

The Administrator shall first draw all Winners and Reserve Winners of the Grand Prizes, and only thereafter the Winners and Reserve Winners of the additional prizes, strictly in the order set out in Section 7.2.

7. Prizes

7.1. Grand Prize:

The following main prizes will be drawn as part of the Game:

• 1 trip for two to Thailand, worth HUF 2,000,000, in the form of a voucher issued by a travel agency;
• 1 trip for two to China, worth HUF 2,000,000, in the form of a voucher issued by a travel agency;
• 1 trip for two to Japan, worth HUF 2,000,000, in the form of a voucher issued by a travel agency;
• 1 trip for two to Indonesia, worth HUF 2,000,000, in the form of a voucher issued by a travel agency.

7.2. Additional prizes:

• 1 gift voucher worth HUF 500,000, redeemable at any participating Padthai Wokbar restaurant;
• 10 gift vouchers worth HUF 100,000 each, redeemable at any participating Padthai Wokbar restaurant;
• 10 giant Padthai gift packages, worth HUF 27,590 each.

8. Notification of winners

8.1. The Administrator will notify the Winner (or Reserve Winner) by email after the Event. The Administrator will agree on the exact method and location of receipt of the Prize with the Winner by email, taking into account the Winner’s place of residence and individual circumstances. The Prizes shall be distributed by 30 April 2026 at the latest. The Administrator shall be entitled to determine the method and time of collection, taking into account stock availability.

The Organiser stipulates that the Winner is only entitled to the Prize of which the Administrator has notified them by email.

9. Receipt of prizes

9.1. Following successful contact, the Prize will be handed over after presentation of the notification sent by email, based on agreement with the Winner.

9.2. If the delivery of the Prize fails at a time and in a manner previously agreed and coordinated with the Winner (Reserve Winner) for reasons attributable to the Winner, neither the Organiser nor the Administrator shall be held liable for this circumstance. Neither the Organiser nor the Administrator shall provide another opportunity to receive the Prize; in this case, the original Winner shall lose their right to the Prize, and the Administrator shall be entitled to award the unclaimed Prize to the next Reserve Winner in line.

10. Data protection information

10.1. By participating in the Game, the Player expressly agrees that the Organiser may use the data requested in these Game Rules in accordance with the provisions of these Rules. We hereby inform you that data processing is based on your consent. You are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge, by sending a request to any of the contact details listed in Section 10.13.

10.2. The Organiser, as data controller, processes the following data:

10.2.1. For all participating Players: name, email address, telephone number, postcode

10.2.2. For the Winner: name, email address, postal address, telephone number, postcode

10.3. Please note that participation in the prize draw is based solely on your voluntary initiative and consent.

10.4. Based on the above, data processing is governed by Act CXII of 2011 on the right to self-determination and freedom of information (Info Act) and REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL (27 April 2016) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR) Article 6(1)(a).

10.5. Purpose of data processing: We process your personal data in order to run the Game, enable you to participate in the prize draw, including the process of selecting the winners, and, if you win, to deliver the prize to you, as well as to enable the Company to fulfil its legal obligations in relation to the Game.

We also note that after the successful conclusion of the prize draw, the Organiser will publish the conclusion of the prize draw on its social media platforms, along with the first names of the winners of the main prizes.

10.6. Duration of data processing: In relation to the prize draw, the data controller will process the data for 3 months after the last prize has been sent, after which the data will be deleted from its records. In order to fulfil and verify its legal obligations, the Company will process the data of the winning Players for 8 years, retaining your name and the fact that you have won a prize as an accounting document in accordance with Section 169 of Act C of 2000 on Accounting for 8 (i.e. eight) years after receipt of the prize. After this period, we will delete your data.

10.7. The Organiser uses a data processor:

The data processor, as the organiser of the Prize Game, is Raconteur Zrt. (registered office: 2030 Érd, Kankalin utca 1/a., company registration number: 13-10-041846).

10.8. If the Prize is delivered by post, the Organiser shall transfer the Winner’s name and postal address from the Winner’s personal data exclusively to Magyar Posta Zrt. (registered office: 1138 Budapest, Dunavirág utca 2-6.; company registration number: 01-10-042463; tax number: 10901232-2-44).

10.9. The Organiser shall store and process personal data at its registered office at 1122 Budapest, Bíró utca 7.

10.10. The Organiser shall not be liable for any data provided incorrectly by the Player. As a data controller, the Organiser shall take appropriate IT, technical and personnel measures to ensure that the personal data it processes is protected against, among other things, unauthorised access or unauthorised alteration.

10.11. As data subjects, Players have the following rights in relation to data processing:

10.11.1. Right of access: Based on the right of access, you are entitled to receive information about the following:

1. the purposes of data processing;
2. the categories of personal data concerned;
3. the categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, including recipients in third countries or international organisations;
4. where applicable, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored;
5. the right of the data subject to request from the controller rectification or erasure of personal data concerning him or her or restriction of processing and to object to processing of such personal data; and
6. the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10.11.2. Right to rectification: The Player has the right to request that the Data Controller rectify personal data concerning him/her.

10.11.3. Right to erasure: The Player has the right to request that the Data Controller erase personal data concerning him/her without undue delay, and the Data Controller is obliged to erase personal data concerning the Player without undue delay if any of the following reasons apply:

1. the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were processed;
2. the Player has withdrawn their consent to the processing of their data and there is no other legal basis for the processing (the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent prior to the withdrawal);
3. the Player objects to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing;
4. the personal data has been unlawfully processed;
5. the personal data must be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject.

10.11.4. Right to restriction of processing: The Player has the right to request that the Data Controller restrict processing if any of the following conditions are met:

1. the Player disputes the accuracy of the personal data, in which case the restriction shall apply for a period enabling the Data Controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
2. the processing is unlawful and the Player opposes the erasure of the data and requests the restriction of their use instead;
3. the Data Controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but the Player requires them for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
4. the Player has objected to the processing, in which case the restriction applies for the period until it is determined whether the legitimate grounds of the Data Controller take precedence over those of the data subject.

10.12. Right to data portability: The Player has the right to receive the personal data provided to the Data Controller in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

10.13. 10.14. We also inform you that the Player has the right to refuse the processing of their personal data at any time without justification, and to withdraw their consent unconditionally and free of charge at the contact details provided in Section 10.13.

10.15. The provision of personal data is voluntary, but it is essential for receiving the Prize. The Player acknowledges that if they do not provide the data necessary for the conduct of the Game, or request its deletion before the announcement of the results or the awarding of the prize, this will result in their exclusion from the Game.

10.16. Legal remedies available to data subjects in relation to data processing

10.16.1. Complaints submitted to the Organiser: Data subjects may submit their complaints and objections directly to the Organiser, who will do everything in its power to eliminate and remedy any infringements. The Organiser shall examine complaints submitted to it without delay, but within 30 days at the latest, and shall inform the data subject of its position and the measures taken within the same period.

10.16.2. Complaint to the authorities: The data subject may lodge a complaint with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (registered office: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11.; website: http://naih.hu; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf.: 9.; telephone number: +36 (1) 391-1400; email address: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu).

10.16.3. Judicial enforcement: In the event of a violation of their rights, the data subject may turn to the court in an extraordinary procedure. The data controller is obliged to prove that the data processing complies with the provisions of the law. The competent Hungarian court shall have jurisdiction to hear the case. The case may also be brought before the court of the data subject’s place of residence or domicile, at the data subject’s discretion.

11. Miscellaneous provisions

11.1. If the Participant fails to comply with the terms and conditions of these Rules for any reason, the Organiser may exclude the Participant concerned from the Game.

11.2. By accepting these Rules, the Participants expressly acknowledge that they have fully read and understood all the terms and conditions set out in these Rules and agree to be bound by them.

11.3. The Organiser shall communicate these Rules in the form of an eDM and an email. The Organiser shall ensure that the Rules are continuously available throughout the entire duration of the Game.

11.4. The Prize shall be provided by the Organiser. The Organiser shall pay any taxes and contributions payable on the Prize, as well as any costs associated with its delivery. Any other costs and expenses that may arise in connection with the receipt and use of the Prize shall be borne by the Winner.

11.5. Participants acknowledge that participation in the Game is voluntary. The Winner shall acknowledge this in a signed statement at the Organiser’s request.

11.6. The Organiser shall not be liable in any way for any malfunctions occurring on the https://padthaiwokbar.com/padthai-tours-nyeremenyjatek website for reasons beyond its control, nor shall it be liable for any damages arising therefrom. The Organiser shall not be liable for any damage arising from connecting to the aforementioned websites or using the related subpages, or from the improper functioning of the parent website or in connection with them, for any data loss resulting from a possible internet network outage, access route error, or any unexpected technical error, viruses or other malicious causes.

11.7. The Organiser excludes its liability for damages suffered by the Winner or any third party resulting from the Winner providing incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information.

11.8. The Organiser reserves the right to exclude anyone from the Game without justification or to cancel the registration of Participants in the event of manipulation, irregular participation, abuse or suspicion thereof.

11.9. During participation in the Game, the terms and conditions of the Player’s internet service provider and the rules of Facebook shall continue to apply.

11.10. The Player acknowledges that the speed of message and data transmission and response depends on the technical conditions of the server, and therefore the Organiser accepts no responsibility for this. The above may be adversely affected by network congestion and other factors beyond the control of the Organiser and its partners, such as (but not limited to) network congestion, coverage, connection errors, device performance, and maintaining a secure network connection.

11.11. The Organiser shall not distribute any prizes other than those specified in these Rules within the framework of the Game. These Rules and the Game shall be governed by Hungarian law. The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Rules, shorten or extend the duration of the Game, make other changes, or terminate the Game, in which case it shall inform participants of such changes by eDM or email in a timely manner, in the same manner as the original information about the Game.
